The challenge and opportunity are what have always attracted me to real estate. I love the challenge of finding my buyers a home that fits their needs along with the opportunity to see my clients turn a house into a forever home for their family. I pride myself on advocating and educating my clients every step of the way. Although the process can be equal parts stressful and exciting, my job is to take as much of the stress away so you can focus on packing your boxes while I focus on the hard stuff.
Before getting into real estate, I worked in property and casualty insurance which allowed me to fully understand and embrace the value and importance of customer service whether that is at a time of loss for a claim or changing needs in different life stages. I’m a huge data nerd so running numbers and doing comparative market analysis for properties is something I love. Over the years I always wanted to go to law school, so reviewing documents, bylaws and contracts will never get old or annoying to me. I like to think that my triple threat of the service mindset, data nerd and love for legal review really sets me apart from other agents.
Away from work, my husband, toddler son, and I live in Ada, where the list of projects to do on our own house never ends. When I’m not adding to the project list, I have two horses, two dogs and a grumpy old cat that keep us entertained or at least constantly cleaning up after someone. I’m an active member of the community that I live and work in as a member of the Junior League of Grand Rapids, Junior Board member for the Humane Society of West Michigan, Coach for Girls on the Run and volunteer for MomsBloom, Inc.
